The National School Attendance Poster Competition is aimed at getting behind schools, pupils, parents/guardians and communities to raise awareness about the importance of regular school attendance. It would be great if this poster campaign could generate some chats in our classes about why regular attendance is so important.
The children are asked to come up with a slogan for the campaign in their poster design. We are hoping to take part in this. Each school can submit two posters. However we are going to run an in school competition. We hope to showcase the children's work and have a coffee morning for parents when the competition ends.
We are looking forward to seeing the children's beautiful creations.
